No, they're not. Most people are good, willing to help others, and protect innocents (children, defenseless, etc.) there is an incredibly vocal group of bad individuals but they aren't the norm. This person what they did was monstrous.
I wish I can believe that. Every single area I have personally ever been to has nothing but aggressive, violent people. And there's nothing but violence and lack of empathy from Gen Z and Alpha kids. Their predecessors aren't much better either.
This is just the reality of things.
