And its supposed to last a month. I gave it to him on the 20th, and they went away within a day or two. Then a month later it was the 20th and I thought to myself okay I have to give him his medicine and didnt get around to it, and then the next day I was holding him and found a flea. These mfers literally died for exactly one month to the day. Gave him the medicine again and they all go away again. You need to look into where hes getting them. Apparently his favorite hangout is infested.
crazy how it worked
You need to look into where hes getting them. Apparently his favorite hangout is infested. No idea. Hes an inside cat, never goes outside, and I keep a clean house, and I vacuum regularly. I live in a very pet friendly neighborhood. He never had any sort of fleas in my old house, and it wasnt until he moved here. But I truly have no idea. I feel like Im bringing them in with me or something but I dont see how that is true either.
What medicine was it? My cats from years ago got fleas and I treated them with Frontline which killed the fleas and their eggs.Revolution. I tried a different kind before getting the doctor prescribed one, but it didnt work. Revolution worked within a day or two and was very noticeable that he no longer had fleas. Poor guy was so itchy and as soon as they were gone he got so much happier
You most likely have fleas in your house. If your pet has fleas, you clean your house top to bottom and spray everything with the vet recommended flea spray.Yeah but where? And can they live without a host? Because when he had them Id find them occasionally, but after giving him the medicine never saw another one all month
Yeah but where? And can they live without a host? Because when he had them Id find them occasionally, but after giving him the medicine never saw another one all monthMy cats were indoor-only as well and somehow got fleas in the place I was living for a while. I can only assume there were eggs dormant in the carpeting and once the temperature turned to favorable conditions for them, they started hatching. You can purchase flea powder to use on any carpets you have. Also the way Frontline works, you put it on the back of your cat's neck and it flows over their body and can also work its way into carpets and possibly other places fleas may be. Try asking your vet about Frontline, or call up a different vet and ask them. Fleas are no joke.

Frontline can be bought at any pet store and from what my vet told me, revolution is the better option, but Im no expert. The actual medicine is working, so Im not worried about that part.
Yo it's Far-Queue just saying hiHi
can they live without a host?An infestation can persist for about three months after their last meal.
An infestation can persist for about three months after their last meal.I see, so in theory if the medicine is kept up for the next couple months it should take care of itself

Summer time it was a impossible task to keep them to a min.
