All the jokes aside I would expect all of forum side to be gone within 3 to 4 months. They might last through to the end of summer but I wouldnt hold my breath. I gravely doubt forum side will still be around when the holidays roll around.

CE will gone by the election. Most other social boards non/gaming stuff will probably be gone inside a year. Everything will shift to just the gaming boards and they will be even more toxic than usual and be total chaos to the point that in 2 years they pull an IMDB and just completely disable and remove all boards.

This domain will be turned into just an archive for older game guides/walkthroughs. That's it.

It all depends on how much bad faith acting goes on, without naming names fandom has been content (or perhaps new management is unaware) to let the more private boards continue business as usual. However we all know the type that wants a cheap win. Never thought that this account would somehow outlive all the current events boards on GFAQs.

The election will be the end of this place, so CE needs to migrate and put down strong roots someplace else before that happens.

Might be an idea to just abandon this place once everyone settles in the new message board. A kind of we leave you before you shut us down to fandom.
