It's my birthday, should I treat myself to Elden Ring at full price?

Agh, I feel like itd be silly to not just wait for a sale. Need CE to tell me if its worth the splurge.

I could also get FFVII remake which is on sale but I think Id jive with Elden Ring more since I like creating my character.

I'm conflicted on what to recommend. On the one hand, it's an enormous and spectacular game, well worth $60 or $70. On the other hand, it'd be hard for me to justify full price to myself for a game over two years old.

Elden Ring had a decent enough sale(on Steam anyway) recently, but I kinda doubt Fromsoft would allow that again so close to the DLC release. You do save $20 if you get that Shadow of the Erdtree edition on Steam, but I don't know if you'd even want the DLC.

Yep haha youve described my dilemma expertly. Any thoughts on my other option? I wish I could apply the FFVII sale to Elden Ring lol >_>

Happy birthday

Not sure whether or not you should buy or wait for a sale. I will just say that Elden ring is an amazing game!

I love both games, so if it were up to me, I'd prioritize the one on sale. Hell, by the time you're done with Remake, Rebirth might be getting its first sales!

Edit: And happy birthday =)

Happy birthday mate. I think Hogwarts Legacy would be more fun if you have the right kit to run it (it's like Crysis back in 2008). Personal opinion though.

How old are you turning?

FF7 is the better game. Wait for the Erdtree DLC bundle to go on sale, Elden Ring just isn't that great to justify full price.
Happy Birthday TC!!

Okay so Elden Ring is the last game I bought at full price.

After 320 hours I can say it was unequivocally worth it. I'm excited for the DLC to give me a reason to play this game again.

Happy Birthday, but don't pay full price. Shop around. Both Amazon/Best Buy have it for $40 right now (depending on your console). And I've seen it at Walmart for $35 (ymmv).
