People are shaming him for this, but idk what other opinion he's supposed to have? He works for them. Anything else and he could lose his job.
Although after saying that, a more appropriate response would probably be something along the lines of "Fandom, and myself welcome valid and thoughtful criticsm, we want to ensure we are doing what we can to make this a better place for it's current and future userbase".
I have never ever once cared if someone insulted the place I work at. However, the only reason he said it is because insulting him is a moddable offense so we know what he's aiming for.
