I drink soda like once a month these days. Used to drink them and energy drinks a lot tho when I needed the caffeine

I don't drink soda at all. Just water and unsweetened ice tea mostly. It's just waaaaay too sweet for me.

There are actually MANY studies linking diet soda to diabetes. But its a complicated picture with many factors. Point is just dont over do anything in life.
