Here's the very simple thing:
TC has the right to dictate what is done with content he has provided the site. If he has chosen to remove it because the management has done something he disagrees with then that is his right.
If that upsets anybody maybe they can ask what the management can do to instill faith in the people removing their content so that they put the content back up.
