My lizards now never come out of his hole. This one stays out. And if he gets loose I can kind him easily. Just put on my Neighborhood app that a dog sized lizard is on the loose and ppl will be on the lookout.

Kind of hope you're joking.

Those things are going to be harder to care for, and if you want a pet that's always visible . . . well, they bury themselves and hibernate for up to 6 months every year.

If you want something large-ish that is active during the day and likes being handled, get a Chinese Water Dragon.
