If the issue was you putting them in the dryer, then just say you'll put them in a hamper from now on. If that was what she wanted, then she's justified in being
somewhat
annoyed but she should also acknowledge it was partly her fault for leaving it in the washing machine all day. Say you'll put the wet clothes in a hamper or something and that's it.
If she just expects you to leave her clothes in the washing machine and put your own laundry on hold, then she is 100% wrong and unreasonable, and you should just get out of that house ASAP if you can afford it.
