I say that as someone who really enjoyed The Last of Us (both the games and TV show).

The issue I have with Last of Us is that it doesn't feel like a video game at all.

The reason something like the MCU, Spider-Verse, or Fallout hit so hard is because for the most part, they felt like what they were adapting, Comics or video games. I didn't get that feeling watching TLOU, it was just a great story adapted, but there were no scenes where it felt like I was playing the game.
