Who played their character better, jackman in the wolverine movies

...or downey jr in the iron man movies? are these 2 guys the actors most associated with a character in the last 20 yrs or so? they might be.

It's hard to say. They're both iconic roles, but to me it always felt like Jackman made the character fit him while Downey made himself fit the character, if that makes sense.

Jackman. Logan alone is better 'acting' talent than rdj put into any of the iron man movies, but he's a very different kind of character.

RDJ is Tony Stark. He turned just another Avenger into a major character going forward from his first appearance in the MCU. Even in the comic books, Tony Stark took on RDJs appearance.

Hugh Jackman is very good at playing the role of Logan. But as good as Jackman gets, the comic book Logan is just rougher and tougher, and you can see the amount of experience he has fighting just by looking at him. I dont quite get that from Hugh Jackman.
