My local grocery store has their own in house bakery and legitimately has the best donuts. The Dunkin Donuts near them was ran out of business because no one would go there.
With that being said as far as big chains go Ive never heard of or seen a Ducks. Cant comment on them. Never understood the love for Krispy Kreme. We had box and boxes of them on my ship in the Navy back in the 90s and hardly anyone touched them considering we had fresh full breakfast available.
So that leaves Dunkin. I think they are acceptable, but pale in comparison to the local grocery store bakery previously mentioned.

timmys is the only chain donut/coffee place I've ever really been to. There used to be an einstein bagels, but tim hortons basically took over my town.
there is a local bakery that has really good donuts and japanese cheese cake, but they run out of both of those fast, like 11am? donuts are gone, sorry. hope you like scones.
