You hack to unlock it. I cant remember how many slayer points the unlock costs.Yeah, that would make things considerably easier. Will keep that in mind when I get a Ranged level high enough to consider taking on that challenge.
Also it is a free skip like mentioned here. But its always worth a try, especially if you are nervous about getting your first fire cape. The imbued slayer helmet makes a colossal difference .
