Just trying to stay relevant2 of the biggest hiphop artists, Drake being one of the biggest artists on the planet in general, are trying to stay relevant?
Whatever happened to a good old fashioned rap battle in personIf you get into an in person rap battle and start calling your opponent a pedophile who needs to die in front of everyones whole crews, someone is going to get hurt lmao
Is being in the big 3 a bad thing?

Yeah, like, most people would consider it an honor to be top 3, but I guess Kendrick's response was "fuck that there's only me".This didnt all begin because of Kendricks verse on like that. Kendrick and Drake have had throwaway lines aimed at each other for years, this is just the culmination of that.
The hyper arrogance and self-indulgence that comes with rap culture has always been one of the most off-putting things for me.
Seems like a ridiculous thing to start the biggest beef battle in modern times over, it sounds like Cole was complimenting him by including him in the Big 3 and now we've got accusations of pedophilia, sex trafficking and wife-beating.
Euphoria was pretty good though, only one of the diss tracks I've heard so far.
Drake and Cole do "First Person Shooter" together, with Cole name dropping Kendrick as part of rap's "Big 3". Kendrick and Drake already had pre-existing tension from Kendrick's Control verse, so Kendrick wasn't fucking with it (apparently Drake also reached out to him for a verse)This entire post is accurate, but I want to clarify something about how this all started. J Cole said the big 3 were him, Drake and Kendrick. But in the same song, Drake said that the GOAT's were just him and Cole (leaving out Kendrick). So it was a really roundabout way of Drake saying he doesn't acknowledge Kendrick as one of the greats, without directly naming him. And that's why Kendrick made a diss track in response. Because Drake was trying to be sneaky with his diss.
Basic rundown:
- Drake and Cole do "First Person Shooter" together, with Cole name dropping Kendrick as part of rap's "Big 3". Kendrick and Drake already had pre-existing tension from Kendrick's Control verse, so Kendrick wasn't fucking with it (apparently Drake also reached out to him for a verse)
- Kendrick drops a verse on "Like That" with Future and Metro Boomin, talking about how there's No Big 3, it's just him, and Cole and Drake are his competition. Cole drops a diss track but later removes it and apologizes to Kendrick, which many are speculating he did because he realized how intense the beef was about to get
- Drake drops two diss tracks as a response, where he says that Kendrick's fiance was sleeping with his bodyguards. He also does some lame ass shit where he uses AI to mock Kendrick in 2Pac and Snoop's voices on "Taylor Made Freestyle"
- Kendrick drops "euphoria", saying he hates Drake and sees him as a misogynistic culture vulture who lies on and manipulates people and warns him not to speak on his family. Also calls him out for the AI bullshit and for having a bunch of ghostwriters
- Kendrick drops another track "6:16 in LA" as a final warning, telling Drake that someone in OVO works for Kendrick and has dirt on Drake and that a lot of people in OVO want to see Drake get taken down
- Drake drops "Family Matters" claiming that Kendrick beats his wife, that one of his kids is really his best friend's and that he doesn't actually care about his community like he claims to
- Kendrick drops "Meet the Grahams" 30 minutes after, where he claims that Drake not only has an 11 year old daughter that he doesn't take care of and is trying to hide, but that he and others in his camp are pedophiles and that Drake and his clique are engaged in sex trafficking. The cover art to the diss was also a picture taken in Drake's house featuring items from Drake's father's suitcase
- Drake posts an IG story denying that he has a daughter
- Kendrick drops another track yesterday doubling down on the pedophile allegations
And that's where we're at now. Also worth pointing out that many other rap artists have come out and dissed Drake, including Future + Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, Rick Ross, Kanye West and A$AP Rocky
This entire post is accurate, but I want to clarify something about how this all started. J Cole said the big 3 were him, Drake and Kendrick. So it was a really roundabout way of Drake saying he doesn't acknowledge Kendrick as one of the greats, without directly naming him. And that's why Kendrick made a diss track in response. Because Drake was trying to be sneaky with his diss.
And yeah, according to DJ Akademiks, Drake reached out to Kendrick to be on First Person Shooter with them, but Kendrick declined.
damn. crazy timeline. so one is a wife beater and the other is a pedophile?*alleged
damn. crazy timeline. so one is a wife beater and the other is a pedophile?
I know next to nothing about rap, which of them is a pos and which isn't? Who's winning and who's losing?
The Kendrick wife-beater allegations have much less teeth, but Kendrick did air out his marital problems and issues with infidelity on his Mr. Morale album. And said on Euphoria that Drake would make up allegations based on Mr. Morale.
I know next to nothing about rap, which of them is a pos and which isn't? Who's winning and who's losing?Kendrick is currently grinding drake into the dirt. Both guys have slung accusations at each other that make them both look really bad if they turn out true through
And said on Euphoria that Drake would make up allegations based on Mr. Morale. That could easily be seen as covering his own ass, especially because it was preemptive.
That could easily be seen as covering his own ass, especially because it was preemptive.Well sure it could be. Still less teeth. We know Kendrick is unfaithful and definitely has skeletons in his closet.
Im not giving much weight to any of the allegations until some type of proof is shown. I dont want to believe Kendrick beats women until thats proven. Drake being sus with young girls has been known for a long time, but if his whole label is committing sex crimes that definitely needs some proof as well
Well sure it could be. Still less teeth. We know Kendrick is unfaithful and definitely has skeletons in his closet.Yeah, exactly why im waiting for proof to believe any of it. Its easy to say things that arent true.
But he's also said he's killed people in some of his songs and it doesn't appear he's ever actually taken anyone's life.

But he's also said he's killed people in some of his songs and it doesn't appear he's ever actually taken anyone's life.
It's also worth pointing out that Drake's allegations are a lot more vague. Even if the wife-beater stuff is "technically" true, we don't know when it happened, the full context behind it or the severity.I feel like this just kind of exhibits how much people are willing to give Kendrick the benefit of the doubt because hes Kendrick
I know next to nothing about rap, which of them is a pos and which isn't? Who's winning and who's losing?
Basically both are scum and Kendrick started it (he's been dissing Drake since 2013 purely out of clout chasing/admitted irritation with Drake's success, despite Drake helping to elevate him as a mainstream artist and praising his music; Drake failing to keep a guy he helped make bigger in check contributed to his image as a "soft" rapper) but Kendrick is winning in terms of public perception and seems to have way more dirt on Drake than the reverse.Lmao calling Kendrick a clout chaser when his opposition is literally drake is certainly a choice
