If youre riding in a mine cart and you jump, youre gonna leap out of it, but he and daddy Kong make the cart leap with them how is that possible?

He jumps out of the minecart, but holds onto the minecart so it goes up with him. I thought this was obvious.

I'm imagining what would happen if one of the magnets slips out of his hand mid"flight", causing the other end to tip over.
