They don't have to quit, just not enforce the overly strict and horrendously ambiguous guidelines Fandom is using to purge the board of the previous users. And if Fandom is not satisfied with the mods using their own discretion in their moderating then the mods should happily take being unmodded for that instead of shilling for Fandom and accelerating the downfall.
At least if Fandom is forced to bring in their own mods then they are overextending their resources. They may even be forced to pay people to work for them then. I know *gasp*.
So your solution is for the mod team to not enforce the policies until were demoted and replaced with moderators chosen by the company you despise. And to do otherwise is shilling for Fandom and accelerating the downfall of the site. Are you purposely ignoring the irony in your line of thinking?
