That's why I'm asking. I'm not familiar with him. I can certainly see there being double standards for whatever reason being a possibility so that's why I want him to elaborate on his reasoning.
Albini wrote about encountering (openly available) extreme CP in Europe in the early 1980s. Back then he was notoriously edgy and desperate to shock.
He is difficult to defend as a person for a lot of reasons, but that doesn't stop anyone from enjoying the music he made and produced.
