I don't know man. I'm iffy on that level of protest against an individual for a singing contest.

I've never watched Eurovision so I might be ignorant on the level of national representation it represents. Like, I can understand protesting an Olympic team during Olympics (Russia for example). Should I be seeing this in the same manner? Maybe that's where my disconnect is.
It is a song Contest and it is pretty much the same thing as an athlete going to the Olympics, yeah. And the winning country gets to host the next edition of the Contest.
