This is definitely true in some cases. After I quit my last job, they ended up hiring a guy as a "senior network architect," but the dude couldn't even do the basics of network administration. He lasted about 9 months and then got let go.

I mean, part of confidence is being able to accept not knowing the answer, or being wrong. I'm confident in my job, so I don't feel bad if I have to ask a colleague how to do some thing. A worker who is not confident would try to hide that they don't know what they're doing.
Bosses are immune to the eat command so it won't be possible to end the final boss fight of the game by eating it.
