There is a children's story called Charlotte's Web in which a spider decides to save a pig that is otherwise destined to be slaughtered for food by weaving words into her web in the barn door in an effort to make the pig famous enough to be more valuable as a curiosity than as meat.

The pig is eventually entered into a fair.

Deleted scene from last nights fair experience: my girlfriends dad told us how unsafe we were at the fair because there was security there and we had to go through metal detectors so if anybody snuck in a gun and started shooting people then there would be no good guys with guns to protect us
