I remember at the end of BG3, you have an option to kill yourself if you become one of those tentacle dudes. I wanted to see the scene again, and then this happened:

I remember seeing one of those warnings for one of Game Grumps' animated clips for DDLC.

Maybe those JRPGs villains were on to something about humanity being trash.

Is that actually why people started using that phrase? I've heard YouTubers saying "self deleted" when they're talking about characters in a movie/game that committed suicide.
