Ehhh. I'll go out on a limb and say no one would care if it was just socks, and we can't be sure it wasn't, but... even then, there's no way that's organized, and the packaging will get fucked up.

It's definitely not a name you'll find much these days, but it seemed to be more common back in the day. Here's a few guys named Dana that I could think of.

Dana Carvey (Comedian, SNL alum)

Sure, it's taught . But what kind of work culture and metrics are enforced on the regular that would make this the better choice than getting up and down in your truck, or pulling down the ramp to drag the dolly and stack the trailer right?

This kind of shot happens because the bosses set expectations that are inconsistent with the training given and then blame drivers and loaders for doing what they have to in order to keep those jobs.

Worked in a distribution center years ago and watched stuff like that happen on the daily, for those exact reasons.

Also, Dana White can go fuck himself in general. You have better things to do, I hope, than ruin some dude's job. And that goes for anyone filming and posting for the express purpose of costing someone their job. He wasn't endangering anyone, which is about the only justification anyone should use to pull this.

We can't be sure it is, either. That's the entire point. The delivery driver has no idea what's in the boxes, and thus he should be treating every single one as if it's breakable, instead of treating every single one as if they're just socks.

Nothing a driver does with the package is anything compared to what they go through at the plants. Nothing a human does to a package comes close to what the machines do.

If you pack your shit properly then it'll be fine. If you don't, then it was broken before a human even touched it.

Poor drivers and couriers get the short end since every package is well destroyed long before it touches their vans. Why you think big name shipping facilities like Amazon, Fedex, and UPS love to ban the use of phones?

The more fragile stickers you put on a box, the more it gets treated as a basketball at the warehouse. Also have you seen the shit Walmart uses to ship products in? I have never seen cardboard specifically developed to disintegrate upon contact with water.

This is the truth. I watched workers on the line throwing boxes of literal laptops and desktops onto pallets because it was faster back in the day

Oh, do I have a story to tell. I've been wanting to make a topic on this exact subject, but it felt a little Gladys Kravitz-esque...

So, I have a neighbor who moved in a few months ago that has a USPS truck show up every. single. day (excluding Sundays). And any time I catch them loading it up, the driver will chuck the boxes into the back, before hopping in afterwards to organize them. I don't know what the dude does for a living, but it must be successful enough to have outgoing packages on the daily.
