Ive seen it in the store, Ive always wanted to play this game. Is it a decent remake or should I get the original version?

It's alright. If you've never played the original it's fine to play the Remaster

It's good. The QoL improvements are more than worth putting it above the original.

I have beat the original version of ff7 in and out (I may replay again since I have three months to myself coming up), I know the CC story since I have read parts of it online (to fill in FF7 story gaps)

I enjoyed it.

I did play the original on PSP back when it came out but couldn't really remember anything about it. So I can't really compare the two versions.

Never played the OG but I enjoyed Reunion.

I beat it like 5 times through before moving on from it.

It's not particularly difficult unless you're basically speed running the story on Hard
The name is wackyteen for a reason. Never doubt.
