V is a perfectly fine game. Solid competition game by the end of it. Shitty story mode though. And personally speaking, rough sound design. It just sounds awful.

Just playing the SP stuff I had a good time with it. My first since SFII and it's got me back into the franchise.

Not counting SF1, Ive loved every mainline game in the series. Except SF5.
Live action Hungry Hungry Hippos though, now that was a sport. ~Aeon Azuran

I don't know anything about fighting games, but when I looked at 5 when it was relevant it looked awful. The aesthetic was off-putting and it didn't seem visually rewarding.

Conversely for the past 10 months I have been in an internal struggle over whether I should actually play SF6 despite not playing fighting games because it looks so good.

It's good, but it took a few years to get there. But still not as good as 4 or 6.

World Warriors in 1991 was just a much better game than SFV was during its peak, IMO.

I like it quite a bit more than 5 personally.
