it has interesting characters, impactful stories, is funny, well acted, a good art style and great character designs.
Seriously one of the best shows on Netflix.

Any other fans here?

Im currently early in season 4

It's misery porn. It's a show that's suppose to make you the viewer feel better by watching people whose lives are even worse than yours.

Oh and I love the show so I guess it worked.

Id say its like 40% misery porn. The other 60% is a combination of Hollywoo satire, silly animal puns and sight gags, and the odd contrived tongue twister.

Just recently watched all of it. The show is so damn good. Season 4, damn it hurts.

The ending is one of the best.

It wasnt afraid to punish the main character, even after he was becoming a better person. Also, the last scene with Bojack and Diane. That was a gut punch, but a deserved one.

Really good show that says being a better person means you actually have to do better, not just say it.

See my signature. I meant to change it by now to some other quote but I haven't bothered since I thought it was hard to top for me.

It certainly can be depressing, but there are so many hilarious moments. It ended I felt kinda suddenly because Netflix said we'll give you one more season. I felt like it definitely could have gone longer and maybe got less serious at times.
"A lesser talent couldn't have pulled it off. But I'm willing to bet on BoJack Horseman. Are you?"

it was meant to have one more season, but got cancelled . The finale isn't bad though. It was one of the best ways it could have gone.

The shows dark and depressing tones really make the positive moments stick out. The moment when Bojack and Mr. PeanutButter finally have their "crossover" episode was rather heartwarming.

I really need to finish, I got through the first few episodes of the last season and fell off. I laughed so fucking hard when Diane went to Vietnam to try and reconnect with her ancestral roots and some white Americans mistake took her for being actually Vietnamese and she failed to convince them she was American.
