I work right near a Tesla dealer and had never seen one before today, but there were two in the parking lot. I assume they were there for the recall.
I could see you, but I couldn't hear you You were holding your hat in the breeze Turning away from me In this moment you were stolen...
I see Theo Von out and about in his from time to time, super surprised he hasn't had any re-call issues with it.
i7-13700K, GIGABYTE Z790, EVGA XC3 3070, 64GB G-SKILL DDR5, LG 32" 165hz 1440p
Android/iPhone/Mac/PS5/Series X/Switch, Oculus Rift S, Quest 2
The only person in my area with a Cybertruck is some 40-year-old dude whose parents won a Powerball jackpot last year.
"It was horrible," guard Jeff McInnis said.
"I took 100 naps and we were still in the air."

..literally every single one that has been produced got recalled, so he was either first to have his fixed or just doesn't care if he kills people

Toyota recalled 5 million cars for the exact same issue. Makes you wonder how many of these never get fixed.

Ive been paranoid about pedals getting stuck ever since.

In the case of the cyber truck, the pedal would "stick" because the top of it would actually slip forward on the pedal and get blocked by the... whatever that part of the vehicle around the underside of the wheel is called. It wasn't like the pedal would actually stick. Literally a single screw would've prevented it lol
Tah-rah-rah-boom-dee-aaay, did you get yours todaaay? I got mine yesterdaaay, that's why I walk this way.

I read the problem was caused because workers decided to use an unapproved lubricant to help slide the metal gas pedals into their position, lol.
I'm a long, long way from giving up
Call me old-fashioned, call me a fool
When I first saw one in real life, it hurt my eyes. They look off, like they don't belong in our reality.

I like some of the techical innovations of the Cybertruck and love that Elon had the balls to put something that looks like that in production.

However, and this is mostly a "Tesla" thing, but any car where you have to fiddle with a touchscreen to put the car in drive or reverse is something I'd never buy. Controlling everything through a central screen is purely a cost saving measure so they don't have to manufacture control stalks and buttons. And what happens if the screen goes out?
I saw one for the first time a couple of weeks ago, myself. It drove by me on the road and it kinda spooked me because it looked so... off compared to what you expect to see sharing the road with you. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of the design, myself.
You haven't set a signature for the message boards yet
I saw one "in the wild" parked on in the street in Chevy Chase MD. It looked weirdly small.

You know how 90's CG in retrospect doesn't look real at all? How half the time you're not even sure what you're looking at, and your brain is instantly reminded that you're watching a movie?

Imagine having that same sensation, except you're actually NOT watching a movie. My brain tried in vain to wake up from a dream I wasn't having. It seriously looks like a SuperFX chip has hacked your eyes until you notice the lighting and resolution are too good for that.
There's a difference between canon and not-stupid.
