having recently reread archie, one of penders' big recurring plotlines was a middle aged man creeping on and making out with the underage princess sally. He has tweeted that he wanted a plotline where said character took her virginity but was thankfully shot down. he also liked to slip in characters (including underage ones like Tails) having their feet tickled in panels that cannot be construed as anything but fetishy
I am sure there is more I dont know about because he seems like a slimeball but he definitely had some stuff going on in the comic he was ostensibly writing for children
