I like them, but not enough to go out of my way by much. Kinda like... If I was travelling anyway and happened to be going near one, I'd probably check it out. But I'm not gonna make special trips.
I fought the Trumble and the Trumble won.
They're fun, but at this point it's really just 'Been there, done that.'

i like The Beast at kings island but in general no
I get no real actual enjoyment out of roller coasters.

I don't hate them. I just don't find them fun. Not necessarily miserable or scary. Just not fun.
The name is wackyteen for a reason. Never doubt.
I liked them when I was a kid/teenager but going to an amusement park just doesn't appeal to me as an adult.
Save for your doomed future
yep
Yup. 39, and I still love theme parks, and decent thrill rides are a requirement.
...I think I'm done here...
No. I might have a different opinion of them if I was allowed to ride them, but with my heart issues it's a bad idea.
Have you seen the Yellow Sign?
Quando omni flunkus moritati
never been on one
don't care
I used to when I was younger. Now if I'm at a theme park or something I'm there for the food. Hate lines, being that close to strangers and also the sketchy safety protocols.
I'm surrounded
Yeah. I'd like to visit Cedar Point at some point. Hopefully in the next year or two.

Yes I do, I will not stop riding them til the day I'm physically unable to get on them.

There's so many coasters on my bucket list that I will probably never get to ride.

It's a fun park, I recommend you hit up Blue Streak first because it's such an iconic wooden coaster.

It's really slow though right, like a Disney coaster? It is kinda far and away from most of the other stuff right?

It's not slow like at all. 40mph isn't slow by any means.

You heard top th 2 was shut down? Wonder why though
I get super anxious about it every time I go to a theme park, then once I go on one I'm completely fine. The meter resets each time I leave

Yeah I seen it was shut down, the official statement was some modifications are needed but I've been seeing rumors on the Cedar Point sub on reddit.

Ongoing rumors: an axel on one of the trains snapped or about to snap, the ride is too rough coming down the other side of the top hat and riders are getting slammed into the side of the seat, the ride ops were supposedly looking for something in the area and some employees of the ride manufacturer were there and looked concerned.

I'm not surprised it already needs to be shut down for modifications, the ride manufacturer Zamperla has never built/refurbished any coaster of this scale.

I look for it to be shutdown for at least a month if not more.

I was the last time I rode one, like fifteen years ago.

Hopefully I still would be.

I feel this so much, I love coasters but I have a bit of anxiety waiting in line and I gotta pretty much hype myself up til I'm about to board the train.

Velocicoaster at Universal

I just rode that last summer. I had the strangest/worst experience with it. Not only was it the most intense coaster I've ever been on, but I rode it right after realizing I had lost my wallet. I was at the point where you had to store everything in a locker and I realized it was gone. I was certain it slipped out of my pocket on that Hagrid coaster that I rode prior. I figured it was either stolen or one of the ride attendants had picked it up. So I would have gained nothing by leaving the line, so I just went ahead and boarded the Velocicoaster. The whole time I'm clutching the restraints for dear life while at the same time panicking about my lost wallet and how I was going to get back home with no credit cards or ID. Maybe that was part of what made the ride feel so terrifying. It was a good coaster though. And luckily the ride attendant did have my wallet.

you think it flew out of your back pocket? i had some kinda similar with i really had to pee. So couldn't fully enjoy a great roller coaster. Supposedly velocicoaster is like top 5 in the world. You flew down to universal to ride it?

It was in my side pocket. The coaster car was really small and I'm tall, so my legs were almost vertical. I was wearing these loose shorts and it just slipped right onto the seat like I suspected.

Yeah, we flew, which made it even scarier because I don't know how I was going to be able to get back on the plane without an ID. Never experienced such physical and mental anguish at once. Definitely a thrilling ride though. Highly recommended.

oh so it stayed in the seat or it flew onto the track? there must be some kind of workaround for guys who lose their id on rollercoasters lol
