I really enjoyed it. For me it was the perfect length but I understand why people would be against laying for price for a game that could be beaten < 8 hours first play through.

I got it for 40 bucks, finished it on a first playthrough in 5 hours and felt ripped off.

Compared to the 2 and 4 remakes it is clear that 3 was given a big shaft. It isn't BAD per se, but the severe lack of content and re-use of 2 assets (along with a load of cut content) is a real sour point.

Played it through GP, it was fine for that. Beat in under 5 hours and then Rocket Launcher spammed for the speedruns.

It's a good game.
Honestly, great even.

The main problem, is that by its very nature, you need to compare it to 2; and 2 is damn near a perfect game.
Which, funny enough, the exact same thing can be said about the original versions.

It was a fine game, but cut way too much content from RE3 OG. The whole clocktower segment in the OG game got reduced to the background for a boss battle for instance.

I like it, though it is flawed.

However, I seem to be the only person in the world who didnt like the remake of 2 at all.

I enjoyed itto a point. Definitely should have been longer and Nemesis shouldnt have been so scripted (complete with his nonsensical just vanishing straight upward when you entered an area he couldnt reach).

And yes, I know Nemesis was scripted in the originalits my favorite of the original series. I just hoped that, after RE2R, his role would have been expanded. Also, the more feral/animal mutation boss fights were dumb as heck.

It's fine but it's way too short and the fact they cut the Clock Tower is bullshit.

The game itself isn't too bad but what really lets it down is the length of it.

I got it day 1 and felt totally ripped off by it's length. It really ought to have been a DLC add-on for RE2 but Capcom thought they would just rip us off by charging us full retail value of it.

I never played the original so had no bar to set like so many seem to have. I don't know what was taken out or added. It felt just as good as REmake 2 to me.

Now when are they doing a proper REmake 1? The GameCube remake wasn't on the same level as 2 and 3.

I had a lot of fun playing it but yeah should've been longer and also I feel like they didn't quite capture the essence of what made the original so good quite as well as they did in the other remakes.

Still really enjoyed it and thought it was great but it's not a $70 game in my opinion.
