Supernatural is such a weird show

I think the weirdest thing is that people watched it and the only thing they took away from it was the brothers should fuck. On the show and in real life.

I loved Supernatural.

Though I never saw the last season because I was sad about Chuck.

I think its one of the best shows ever. Yeah it has its ups and downs and I was sick to death of all the Angel stuff after a few years.
also why after all they went through do they still always have to keep secrets and not trust each other? It got so old.
but after numerous seasons they just started having fun with it. The actors and writers, it got ridiculous at times and instead of just being bad or cheesy it just came across as fun and funny.

but most shows get so bad after 5 years or so, not this one. Yes some of the longer plots got bad, but it still just had amazing episodes.
Its weird to think a show running that long and that many episodes didnt become pure trash.

one of my favorite episodes is where Dean was so excited about going to the old west, he gets there and is miserable.
Or the one where the go to a fan convention and see people writing gay fanfic of them.
the show was good in so many ways.
like youd think a show where they go to the land of Oz and meet Dorothy sounds so dumb and bad, yet turns out good. That show does that over and over. It sounds ridiculously like a bad idea, yet mostly they pull it off

Tbf, they were hot. Like the actual actors People would probably pay good money to see that sex tape Also, the fandom surrounding them (mainly the part that wanted them to fuck) basically started the Omegaverse by making fan-fiction I think Star Trek helped, as well

I just remember that all of the emotionally unstable weirdos were really into this show.

Youre probably right. I dont know how most of CE would handle it. And Fandom would probably be clutching their pearls about it

the female fanbase of supernatural kept getting the female characters killed off
anytime a woman so much as looked at sam or dean the studio was flooded with hate mail demanding they kill off the person trying to steal their imaginary boyfriends!!

its why jo wasnt in season 3 or 4. the fanbase hated her for flirting with dean.
the fanbase were more accepting of mother figures for the boys and as they got older they also liked daughter figures like claire

Yeah that shit was weird asf.

the fanbase actually made castiel a series main character. he was only going to be in 4 episodes then die but fans reacted so strongly to him they kept him around forever
anna the other angel was going to be the brothers angel friend throughout the series but she made the mistake of getting into deans pants which cost her, her life.
as fans demanded she die for that sin
