$10. My wife wanted Popeye's and she got 2 drumsticks and that was the total. Good thing I didn't order anything.

Chicken legs are $1.49 a pound at the local grocery store. A pack of 16 usually comes to under $8.

How the hell is Popeye's selling it for $5 per leg? Nothing else came with it but 2 drumsticks?

Oh it's another west coast fast food topic. I mean, New York sucks, but I can get fast food for a reasonable price :/ I got paper coupons right here. Five piece signature chicken, Two regular sides and two biscuits. $10.99. It sez meal for two but it's really only a meal for one, but that's a better value than just two fuckin' drumsticks lol

The "Taste of KFC" deals are quite good. 2 drums, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit for $5 in my area.

Mind you the last time I bought popyes myself was during covid. They use to run a 11pc just chicken for 13 dollars.. The meal is still $25 from what my father has told me. Locally they don't run the 13 dollar special. If its still 25 I'd get the meal now anyway

The only fast food place to raise its prices more than McDonalds is Popeyes. They're not worth the buy until prices come down, sadly.

Dunno, haven't bought their actual chicken for awhile. A former coworker got my into their ghost pepper wings and now I'm hooked. I usually get the 24pc which is like 22 and some change, so technically less than a dollar per wing.
