Karate Island was voted as the best episode ever in the fan vote from just a year or two after it aired, and it was clearly recency bias. I view either that one or Best Day Ever as when things started going noticeably downhill.

I have to say Band Geeks, but Wet Painters, Chocolate With Nuts, Shanghaied, and Sailor Mouth are up there.

I remember that best episode poll. I don't remember anyone ever saying Karate Island was their favorite or even among their favorites. It's not talked about much either besides when the poll is brought up. I never hear anyone quote it or look back on it fondly like the classics or seen any memes from it. I wonder if that was some Nick big-wig's favorite or something.
