I'm kind of interested, but I know next to nothing about Astro Boy. I know prior knowledge doesn't matter, but I would prefer to have that.

Urasawas rendition of Pluto isnt really an Astro Boy story tbh. Hes there of course, but hes not a main player or large focus for a good portion of the series.

Id totally recommend it even if you have no knowledge. Its a really good watch/read.
