2022 GOTY: Elden Ring, Best Girl Ranni
One of the first albums that came to me from Columbia House. Or maybe it was BMG. I still have it.

It's not a war crime the first time.
I had Betty. Picked it up at a used CD store way back when. Never really got into them.

Literally have never heard of that album
He's all alone through the day and night.
I love Unsung. Been meaning to listen to more of them cause I've always heard good things.

This. Where's the "never heard of it but I like 90s rock" option? Fail poll.

It all returns to nothing
It just keeps tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbling down. (NGE)
This came out when I was in high school. I was listening to a lot of different stuff at that time but frankly just wasnt much of a Helmet fan.

Around 92 I was definitely being turned on to the Seattle Sound at the time. Nirvana was huge for me (yes I know they were Aberdeen). Pearl Jam had their debut Ten album out, Soundgarden had Badmotorfinger out and Alice In Chains had Dirt.

Of course I was into many other style of music. I was still listening to a lot of the metal I loved from the 80s and then for current heavier stuff I was listening to Pantera. They completely transformed their style on Cowboys from Hell in 1990 and in my opinion 1992 was peak Pantera with Vulgar Display of Power.

I could go on and on but the reality is I was aware of them but just wasnt into Helmet.

Singles soundtrack?

That soundtrack was definitely a highlight of a whos who of Seattle at the time. I watched and enjoyed the movie but the one thing I never bought or got into was movie soundtracks. Ive definitely enjoyed a lot of music in movies but dont collect the soundtracks.

Although I have to say the very next year Im 93 had a killer soundtrack in the movie Judgement Night. Great soundtrack.

Just went through Meantime a couple weeks ago, for the first time in forever. Never was that big on Helmet and sometimes it's good to remember why.
Take me down from the ridge where the summer ends
And watch the city spread out just like a jet's flame

Ha! Judgement night is the soundtrack I skipped on. My friend played it enough though. I dont buy many soundtracks but singles was a good pickup.
