Game was jank. First level was cool. Every other level felt slippery, untested, glitchy, and repetitive.

it's charming and has the aesthetic i like the series to take, but it's very repetitive and shallow and they really stretched out way too much content out of a mere 14 levels

I disliked the "bullet sponge" enemy design, and many of the combat moves had a strong tendency to hurtle you off the side of a cliff without any ability to cancel the animation.

Also...the rail grinding levels were kind of ass.

I was on a major 3D Sonic kick from Adventure 1 + 2, but Heroes was the last one I bought.

I didn't like switching characters. I prefer Adventure where each character has their own levels.
