They didn't learn from Popeyes and the chicken sandwich.Or from themselves, they've done this before lol
Endless Shrimp has been a standard promotion of theirs. How were they to know this time it would doom them.
I read a very unhinged theory as to why this happened and why it won't be publicizedWell now youve opened that door

I read a very unhinged theory as to why this happened and why it won't be publicizedIs it because of the TikTok "eat as much shrimp as you can" challenge?
because people used to go to red lobster for...lobster.
these days most people going to a red lobster just want to get the cheapest seafood possible, and obviously all you can eat shrimp is the best deal.
I thought Long John Silver was for the people who wanted seafood as cheap as possible and Red Lobster was for the Olive Garden crowd that's never been to an actual seafood restaurant and thinks that it's fine dining.
yeah but Long John Silver doesn't do endless shrimp. or endless anything, afaikIt's no longer becoming a cheap alternative either. Combos (not the platters) are approaching $10+ over here.
and there's only one LJS location in my entire state, so that's probably part of it
