Did they ever address the fact that his dad cheated? From what I can gather, it doesn't seem like it.
Havent watched YS but I read that the following happens:
Sheldon walked in on his dad banging a strange woman, who was actually Sheldons mom roleplaying as someone else but Sheldon never found that out. Also the reason he now knocks three times.
