Doesnt get enough praise for how creative it is from all the other Marios. Were those goombas in a Jason mask lol?

The next time you play it, try the DX rom hack which adds color, removes lag and improves sound.

The final level has an absurd difficulty spike since most the game is very easy.

I had a Gameboy in the 80s, but never played SML2 until I got it on the 3DS. Its an incredibly advanced game for the system it was on. Very very impressive.

It was the best 2-D Mario game imo, and the best soundtrack out of any Mario game.

That game is interesting. You can breeze through 95% of the game in 1 or 2 hours then there's a huge difficulty spike in the final castle.
"It was horrible," guard Jeff McInnis said.
"I took 100 naps and we were still in the air."
