I feel like people who wear high heels generally do so for themselvesYou think so? I thought it was for style.
making its use compulsory is probably a bad lookI can agree with that
You think so? I thought it was for style.yea, but style is a personal thing - there's no one look, and people mix and match items all the time.
You think so? I thought it was for style.dont plenty of people want to look good for self confidence reasons or otherwise for themselves?
It makes me unnecessarily concerned the wearers are going to slip and break their ankles.
dont plenty of people want to look good for self confidence reasons or otherwise for themselves?I mean, I was thinking looking sexy can be seen for other people's benefit but I guess that makes sense.
High heels were literally created for men.
Fetishizing any clothing article and then making its use compulsory is probably a bad look.
I really don't understand the appeal for men. They add height, creating the perception that a woman- who otherwise would be shorter than you- is taller than you. Some men enjoy what they do for the shape of the calf.
It's fine to just wear no shoes at all you know?the ground is dirty, you can only really go footless in certain places like at home or on grass etc, even then you dont know if some sicko left needles and stuff in public parks to step on etc

They are still making that choice. No one is beggeng they to keep up with trends.*khoice
What is sexist (and criticised in Barbie) are things like office dress codes which push women to wear them.

Not in themselves

No is leading.Your topic title and poll are asking completely different questions, so Im inclined to believe this whole topic is disingenuous. Your AMP is higher than your karma on an 8 year old account, which definitely implies disingenuous as well.

I have not seen thr barbie movie and was confused about what was wrong with highheels. I admitted it in the OP
And even if they don't fall, wearing heels regularly causes back problems.
It's a hard question. It is completely up to the woman on if they wear heels or not, but with how common they are, you cannot deny that there's a significant cultural pressure and expectation to conform. Men have no equivalent. If ties caused long term physical harm then they wouldn't still be a thing.
