I thought simpsons first aired in 2020 when i first saw them. I always assumed it was the wordplay on the meme "simp" so they're like simps for biden (it's a pretty political cartoon)

Bugs Bunny show pulled off 40 years. Sesame Street has been around longer too. The Shitsons not so goated

Wow I knew Julie Kavner basically can't do Marge's voice anymore but I didn't know Harry Shearer was losing it too

My honest expectation is that Fox is going to give the VAs one last payday and have them sign their voice rights away, and will then make a few more decades of the show entirely with AI-versions of the voice cast.
Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

Good lord, I've seen every episode until season 31/32, and Shearer didn't sound THAT bad.
