The only advantage an east coaster has is if they're into European football. Otherwise, good luck staying awake for work on Monday morning after watching Sunday Night Football end at midnight.

I know three people who used to live out east that prefer Pacific time zone way more.
On the west coast nothing goes past midnight.
West coast, by far

Just took a trip out there to visit family. Was loving how some NBA playoff games were starting around like 3-4 PMish.
Live action Hungry Hungry Hippos though, now that was a sport. ~Aeon Azuran
One of the best feeling is waking up on Sunday morning and eating breakfast with NFL already on.
Having lived on the west coast almost my entire life, i can't imagine dealing with eastern time zones. Sounds awful!

Im biased as I live in the Midwest but I love central time zone for sports. When I lived on the East Coast it was definitely too late for many games.

When I visited the West Coast it was way too early having college games starting at like 9 am and NFL games starting at 10 am. Having Monday Night Football come on at 5 pm in the middle of an evening meal was fucking weird.

I think starting way early like that was worse than the East Coast late games.

Central time some hits perfect.

I lived in NorCal in the early 2010's for a bit and it was insane watching football and then football ending at like 8pm. I legit didn't know what to do with the extra time.

As an NFL fan more than anything, east coast all the way. 10am NFL games suck. Also there's no such thing as Sunday/Monday/Thursday night football, it's all late afternoon to evening football.

Yeah east coast sucks for it. I hated basketball season working at the prison cause I often had to turn off a close game and tell the inmates to go to bed. I could only leave it on if the OIC approved it and she was a bitch so I wouldn't even ask. General rule of thumb was if it wasn't a championship game the answer was no.

If it was like mere seconds left I would try to let them finish but I've seen 2.5 seconds end up lasting 5 minutes
I put my heart and soul into my work and I fear I have lost my mind in the process
East coast is better for early afternoon games, West coast is better for late night games.

Central is the best of both worlds for the most part.
Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

The good part of it, though.

I'm a night person and sleep late usually so those late night games on east coast are no problem for me. Prefer it actually.

I live on the East Coast, but the order I get, the more I'd prefer games starting on West Coast time.

Granted, that means I would miss the first 3-4 innings of most Mets games, but lately that wouldn't be a bad thing.
You gotta laugh. That is the one thing at the end of your life you will not wish you did less of.
