Somebody has played FFXV for more than 45k hours

Pic was sent to me by a friend so its not shoped....but holy hell how does that happen? That comes to about 5.5 years worth of playtime for a game thats been put for 7 years and 8 months. WTF.

PSN's time tracking is notoriously inaccurate and for some games seems to track time if you're on the home screen but the game is open and even for some games seems to track rest mode.

Playing a PS4 game on the PS5 also seems to fuck with it.

That's still a lot of hours, though.

That's almost 5.5 years straight

Damn and I thought I was bad for having 3500 hours on mgsV. A couple hundred hours of that was leaving the game system on overnight so stuff would continue to develop
