been running adblock plus on chrome forever, and now ads are getting through and theyre big and horrifying, following me down the screen as i scroll, etc. what the hell, fandom?
That was happening to me after a few weeks (lol) they just went away on their own. Guess it was just a batch of ads that ignored my ad blocker and well when they ran their course that was it. It was those anyclip video ads that were generated in the first post of the topic. It certainly was annoying.
More annoying than the mobile ads I put up with.
