Ive bought one pair in 20 years to balance out your 20 in one year.

Im not just being snarky. Literally one pair in 20 years. I bought my house in 2004 and I bought a new pair that year and turned my old ones into lawn mowing shoes. Ive had the same pair of new balance the last 20 years.

I bought 2 of the same pairs of Converse I think, first was great, so I let the other sit in my closet for like 10 years.

When I brought out the 2nd pair, they started falling apart within a week or 2. Glue just wasn't designed to last that long.
