One of the biggest rap music nerds in music and a top 85-90ish% rapper talent wise.

But he chose commercial success over critical claim and because of that will never be accepted by his own community.

and as a result has beefed with literally all of his idols.

its like the nerd in high school becomes a jock in college only to find out everyone liked him more as a nerd
we rich now but used to be slaves,we pushing whips now we used to be whipped, rockin chains when we used to be in 'em
All I know is that he's a degenerate gambler.
THE Ohio State: 11-2 | Las Vegas Raiders: 8-9
It's funny seeing him take shots from inauthentic losers posing as something more.
This is a cool sig
The new Steph Curry show Mr. Throwback has a great drake line about a 12 year old pretending to like drake, then admitting she's not a 40 year old dad.

Drake didnt beef with his idols over that

he beefed with Common over Serena Williams

he beefed with Joe Budden because Budden criticized his music

he beefed with Kendrick over the control verse and Drake being a big baby about it.

Pusha T was over Pusha having beef with Wayne and Baby

no one cares about Drake being a success

The night brims with defiled scum, and is permeated by their rotten stench.
Just think. Now you're all set to hunt and kill to your heart's content.
Drake had the mainstream success, but always desperately craved respect from hip-hop culture, which he never got.

I think FD Signifier put it perfectly: When Drake was growing up listening to hip-hop music, he wouldn't have been the type of dude to listen to Drake. He would listen to DMX or Wu-Tang Clan.
I have nothing else to say

most of which are a direct result of him choosing commercial success and the changes in his attitude that happened with it.
