Nah. Oda has been consistently releasing chapters since the beginning with only the occasional break of a few weeks to recover. It's more that he bloats later arcs with a million new characters such that a single One Piece arc is longer than most whole manga.
which sadly hurts the character development of the strawhats
dont get us wrong oda is great at creating characters its just he gets carried away
dressrosa is the worst offender IMO
wano also has issues but it does a better job of justifying it (and the arc im currently on in my watching)
