It's the easy pick to make but Raining Blood. I just love the riff so much. I won't shy away from it just because it is the most well known and popular song from them.

To me their run from 85 to 90 is really good album wise from Hell Awaits, Reign in Blood, South of Heaven, and Seasons in the Abyss.

Though I'm not going to pretend I'm a massive Slayer fan. I knew them, I liked them, I listened to them occasionally but at the time I favored a lot of other groups over them.

I'd start that in 83. Show No Mercy is still one of Slayer's best.

Over the years my favourite Slayer album has gone back and forth a few times, but at this point it's probably Show No Mercy.

It was cool as fuck because everything was dark until the drums came in.

Probably Angel of Death. Amazing opening to an amazing album and the second half of the song goes hard. Rather dark subject matter tho...

The Antichrist, but Tormentor is runner up. The main riff to that song is so good.

First 3 albums Slayer is pretty much perfect though, one of the best runs in metal history.

I just hate Toms singing on Seasons. Vocals are not typically a thing that bother me in metal, but it sounds so lame to me.
