Damn....seems like they actually spent some effort putting aya brea in the game too only to shut it down a year later. R.I.P yet another mobile gacha.

SQ-EN is really feeling the crunch, huh. You wouldn't think a game running on a shoestring like this would be a problem to their bottom line. And yet, here we are.

This is why I don't get into live service on principle. Got to either wish for fan servers or just hope there's an APK that has all the content.

This is why I stay away from these games. Brave Exvius was fun as well.

I also was so annoyed when the First Soldier shut down. That game was legit fun but my phone wasn't good enough to play it smoothly. But once I got my Fold 5 it shut down too >_>

Gonna be annoying when Dragonball Legends shuts down. Like an idiot I blew quite a bit of money on it before dropping it with the rest of the gatcha games.

OH! And SinoAlice too. As well as Nier Reincarnation. Fuck man, really wish we could access some of these games. They have stories and systems that can no longer be accessed at all. What a fucking shame.

Best case scenario the company puts effort into making some sort of offline version, like capcom did with that mega man x dive game and bandai-namco I believe is doing it with one of the recent tales of mobile shutdowns. Tales of rays, thats what I'm thinking of. Its getting a offline version.

Looked pretty fancy, but when I joined it felt liked I started way too late, getting overwhelmed by... everything.

I honestly have this issued with many gacha games.

So much side content opening up in parallel, and suddenly I have no idea what I'm even supposed to focus on, because there is always a clean meta established, but as a newbie you have no idea to get into that without someone teaching you the ropes.

Crazy this game was even a mobile game in the first place. I genuinely believe had this been a normal game made for the playstation and steam a lot of final fantasy 7 fans would have ate this up.

ExVius is such a nice game, but I stopped playing gachas a long time ago.

When Record Keeper Shut down, I started realizing Gachas dont last forever, they always get shut down eventually.. Since they are online only. I came to realize , spending money on gacha is pointless when you have no access after the servers shut down.

The only time I ever spent money on a gacha was for a few bucks on a starter kit in some games ( where it was actually worth it, like ExVius.) As soon as a gacha game makes me feel like I HAVE to spend money to progreess, I stop playing it.

Thats how it was for me too. I played it off and on for like 2 years or so, and it felt like such a chore to go through the story mode trying to get all the free stuff you could all while other content kept popping up. Also IDK if it was just me or Im misremembering, but it felt like power creep happened way too fast.

I enjoyed the gameplay of it, but between the power creep feeling like it happened too fast and the how much it took to actually get the new characters (unless you were very lucky), I ended up quitting and never went back to it. No idea if either of those things got better since then.

The offline version is available already, but it won't be downloadable after October 2024. Anyone who had an account needs to download it before then, and hope they don't lose their phone/get an OS update that makes it incompatible.

I heard about TotR here on CE and whoever made that topic when the worldwide version was released, thank you mate. Possibly the best gacha game ever, if you enjoy the Tales of series. They put so much love into that game, it's unfortunate it had to shut down.

Remember playing this a little I started way to late and the game was way to dense for me to really get into. I play the occasional gatcha hero collector, but despite it being my favorite franchise it was just way to hard to get into as someone who started years after launch.

I was actually thinking they were gonna port it too. It looked like it with all the interesting updates they were coming out with. And some of the SOLDIER lore behind it was interesting.

They also had these crazy special events in-game. Dammit man, it would have been so cool.
