I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness.
I'm seeing a lot of good samaritans out in Florida offering their free services to people impacted by the hurricane. I've seen people offer free tree removal, debri removal, temporary roof coverings, and various people opening their homes to offer hot meals and hot showers to people who are still without power.

I have a very special case.

I dropped my wallet in the backseat of a drug dealers car. And he had his gangbanger buddies with him. I cancelled my card of course but I had like 60 bucks cash in it. About a week or two later he pulls up and was like breh I was cleaning my car and found this. Still has the money in it.

I'm not here for friends. I'm here for the truth to the best of my knowledge of it, even if it's not what people want to hear.
Fifteen years ago, a random guy walked up to me on the street and said "I have something very important to tell you: you're gonna make it."

Fifteen years later, I still think about that all the time.

Had a manager that even if they ordered fries he's throw a single onion ring in the bag making it look like a accident.

At BK it actually was part of our training to throw a few extra fries in the bottom of the bag to imply some spilled over. We called them bagglers. The idea was people would be pleasantly surprised to find a few more fries when they thought they ate all of them

Sadly being trained to do something doesn't mean people did it.

Like on fried products like a chicken sandwich mayo was supposed to go on both buns. Few would do that because lazy.

BK already wants workers to skimp on condiments bad enough don't fuck the customer even more.

Im often surrounded by people who do good stuff to help others just because they can. Theres a lot of good in the world and you dont even need to look that hard to find it.
As the election draws nearer and feelings get stronger and anxiety picks up, it's important to remember that individual people can be good. Don't get swept away by group stereotypes and what the media tries to present as our day-to-day reality.

It feels like there's a lot of depressing stuff happening in general these days which is why it's important to remember that there are still good stuff happening too and that society has evolved positively in a lot of ways even throughout the negative stuff. The positive stuff should be fought for. The negatives can be mitigated!

Yeah, even if we can't be sure of the results, some Republicans at least are opposing Trump even if some of it is self preservation, and some trying to just be better in general.

I know of at least three Republicans who have switched from Trump to Harris between 2020 and today, and they have been very vocal about it on social media. One switched to Democrat entirely, the other two are still republican but will not tolerate another term with Trump.

One that is both good and bad in its own way

I saw a guy get exonerated of his crimes after spending 25 years in prison. I was night shift so I didn't get to participate but the day they released him staff all the way up to the warden held a celebration for him in the parking lot.

He was in for child molestation so I'm sure he had some rough days behind those walls

He took it very well though in the short time I knew him. Always seemed in a good mood

It sucks 25 years of his life was wasted for something he didn't do. But it was nice to see him get his freedom.

I could be wrong and mixing it up with another case but I believe the "victim" finally came forward and told the truth.

Probably like another case I know where a guy went down because the parent coached the kid on what to say

A glimmer of common decency or manners goes SO much further than it used to. The way that people speak to one another now is straight up wrathful in some situations (berating a low-level worker for a corporate decision). They actually have signs similar to this is most medical places Ive been recently:

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/5/585f1049.jpg

Crappy photo, but it basically says if you start screaming and cursing then you have to leave. I didnt used to see signs like that. The pharmacy has one that says something like remember the person youre speaking to is a human being who somebody loves, and they thank me so much for being nice.
Well my mom told me last night of some places lifting abortion restrictions.

Only hope I can give is that the system makes it seem like most of the country will comply than actually will and that some people will be able to overturn reban attempts.

This should be in a constitutional amendment along with LGBT rights and legalized marijuana. To be honest, we should probably scrap our constitution and make a new one that favors the citizens rather than the corporations and banks, but one step at a time.
My faith in humanity on the macro scale is at an all-time low right now, but thankfully I never lost it on the micro scale, and recent events have certainly reinforced the latter. I can say that me and my family would've given up by now both physically and emotionally were it not for the very timely help from friends and neighbors who volunteered to help us get our house in order after two separate hurricane floodings.
Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read.
Yeah I'm still wondering why bribes from say Trump or Musk are effective. Unless some rich people actually are decent and hard workers, it seems like a cop with little ethics could just jail them and take their money and goods for profit.

Nothing. Fuck society, and I hope it all burns down soon because this dumbass species doesn't deserve to have anything that's even mildly decent anymore.

I noticed people have been extra kind to each other this week at work and in my neighborhood. It's interesting how different things can be on the macro and micro levels. A local community can be very supportive when needbe.

The other day i had to make a left turn, and there was a firetruck coming up behind me, sirens and lights going

So the cars going the other way just stopped to let me do the turn.

While them stopping was very nice, i would prefer them to just go, as it took a few seconds before it clicked in my head what they were doing

Just reminded me about a dude who played in hallmark movies. Also played death in touched by a angel I swear the man couldn't remember character names because every role I've seen him play his character name was Andrew.
