i just realized in all my years, overall the phones I've had, it's not really something I've ever done. it just doesn't occur to me

No, it's too annoying to input a number code/fingerprint/face scan every time to unlock my phone so there's no lock on my phone lol

And if you're asking about wallpaper for the lock/home screen then there's nothing there either. Both are just black screens >_>

I don't trust face unlock or fingerprint unlock because in a hypothetical 'probably never going to happen' situation, someone can just knock you out or get you so drunk you pass out and then use your face or finger to unlock your phone easily.

I use a 16 digit pin. (I would go 20+ digit but 16 is the max on my phone and probably most phones)

It only takes like 2 seconds to enter my pin. It's like 1111555522223333, which is a crazy lot more secure than 1523 for example.

I have two of my favourite photos of my dog, one on the home screen and one on the lock. Even carried across the last time I upgraded so I didn't have to do anything.

Never had a cellphone but I have an iPad tablet that has basically the same operating system as a phone. I dont set the screen to lock. Is that what you mean? Where you have to input a code to unlock it? I dont set that. Its never locked. Its either off or on my Home Screen. As for the photo background its the same as my Home Screen default.

As for my Home Screen it was apples default wallpaper from like 7 years ago I liked. Its a snow capped mountain with a night time starry sky. I liked it so when I got my new iPad in August I kept it.
